Honor Flight Hero Quilts 9:00A-4:00P
Beginning at 9:30 AM, Lynda Huff will host a workshop on making a small wall hanging to honor veterans through the Honor Flight program.
1. Army, Marine, Navy, & Air Force specific fabric will be available or you may bring your own.
2. Ideas for patterns will also be provided or bring your own!
3. Projects should be somewhere between 18” and 24” square, or a rectangle no larger than 24” x 30”. It must be quilted and include a 3 ½” hanging sleeve hand-sewn to the back (no glue please).
4. Lynda will make labels for the back and will include the quilter’s name. She will provide more detailed information at the January meeting.
5. Wall hangings should be completed and turned in by the April meeting.
