The new “Eagle Dancer” 2025-2026 raffle quilt was revealed at
the February 17th meeting and it’s a beautiful quilt! This quilt top was donated to the Community Cupboard and the ladies immediately realized its potential to be a raffle quilt. The members of the Loose Threads Bee took on the challenge and got to work. We are very excited to get it to the different events to sell tickets as well as have members beat the sales from last year! Our goal is to sell 6000 tickets this year!
Tickets are still only $1.00 each or 6 for $5.00.
Specifics: 84” wide by 93” long (big enough for a double or even a queen bed)
The embroidery and details in the quilting are really going to make someone happy when they win this. Even the label is a work of art.
The drawing will be at the Las Colcheras Quilt Show, March 28, 2026.
HOW DO I GET TICKETS?
You can pick up tickets at the Greeter’s desk at any monthly Guild meeting. Or call Linda Dombrausky (phone number is below) and she can arrange to get you more.
WHAT DO I DO WITH THE MONEY FROM SELLING TICKETS?
Bring the money and sold tickets to the Guild meeting and give them to Linda who will collect both.
